Our combined products and private label manufacturing are seen at over 25,000 retail stores throughout North America. North American Products originated as a premier manufacturer of animal and aquatic habitats throughout the world. Launched in 1983, we quickly established ourselves as a total integration manufacturer. With facilities located across North America and Mexico we are logistically optimized to handle all of your fixturing needs. Barney’s Pets began as a breeder and wholesale facility over 25 years ago in Southern California. In that time we have expanded nationally while raising thousands of birds, from finches to macaws and everything in between. Most recently we have begun offering small animals like mice and guinea pigs. We pride ourselves on offering our customers only the finest quality companion animals.

Although we have grown into one of the largest wholesalers in the United States, we still maintain our small company philosophy, that is, we must always provide our animals with the best care possible. After all, they rely on us! Barney’s Pets is a USDA approved and certified facility. In 2003 we relocated into a state-of-the-art facility in Southern California with easy access to major airports. This facility has won awards and has been featured by avian veterinarians and the USDA as a “model” avian environment.
